Lizzo announces 2022 ‘Special Tour’ for US and Canada: dates, tickets, presale and more

Lizzo has announced details of a 2022 North American tour – and tickets go on sale soon.
The singer will embark on the Special Tour in support of her upcoming album of the same name.
It’ll see her perform her biggest headline shows ever, with arena dates planned across US and Canada.
Fans can get their hands on tickets from 10am on 29 April via ticketmaster.com.

It will kick off on 23 September in Flordia and head to the likes of New York’s Madison Square Garden and Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena for a huge hometown show.
Her fourth studio album, Special, will be released on on 15 July and features single “About Damn Time” and the title track, which she recently performed on SNL in a powerful performance.
The tour will also see her joined by backing dancers who have taken part in the reality competition series, Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls on Amazon Prime Video.
The eight-part series sees Lizzo search for “confident, badass women to join her world tour” and she labelled the show “the greatest moment of my career yet”.
The singer also recently joined Harry Styles during his set at Coachella to perform a rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s iconic disco anthem “I Will Survive”.
She posted a selfie of them on her Instagram with the caption: “Proud of you. Thank u for having me”.

In a second post she added: “Thanks @coachella … last night was amazing— @harrystyles is a treasure, gods gift to rock n roll, the light that comes from him is real and infinite.. he makes being on stage in front of hundreds n thousands easy, cus it’s w a friend.
“His team is incredible— and baby them Gucci coats….?!?? Thank you H, like u said ‘until next time.'”
