Sanuk announces its gender neutral Pride collection and partnership with LGBTQ+ charity
Footwear brand Sanuk has announced its 2022 Pride collection and partnership with Pacific Pride Foundation.
The gender neutral range features two Pride editions of its bestsellers which will raise vital funds for LGBTQ+ people.
It’s now available to shop at sanuk.com/pride with $3 per pair sold going to Pacific Pride Foundation.

The collection, which ranges between $45-$65, includes both slip-on and sandal styles with wide and narrow fits for all genders.
They feature custom colourful artwork by Maggie Johnson that “celebrates self-expression and self-discovery”.
This includes the brand’s popular Sidewalk Surfer, which has been transformed into the Pridewalk Surfer for the collection.
It’s a slip-on shoe that features a colourful hemp lining and rainbow embroidery.
There’s also the Sling ST, a gender neutral makeover of the brand’s Yoga Sling 2 sandal.

Sanuk has also confirmed a $10,000 donation to Pacific Pride Foundation “to support the LGBTQ+ community and to commit to creating safe and happy places for all”.
Plus an additional $3 donation per pair sold will go towards the organisation’s educational programs, counseling services, LGBTQ+ competency training, community events, advocacy efforts and more.

It follows up a number of Pride Month releases including Dr. Martens, who have reimagined their classic 1461 shoes with a subtle rainbow design against the monochrome white base.
Queen Mariah Carey herself has also released her annual Pride collection, inspired by her album Rainbow, while lingerie brand Bluebella have enlisted the help of Drag Race icons Brooke Lynn Hytes and Miss Vanjie for their campaign.
