The supermodel of the world – and queen of branding – has now been reimagined as part of Fisher-Price’s Little People Collector range.

Launched by Mattel (no, not Trixie) the set features RuPaul in a purple gown, inspired by the classic silhouette she’s worn over the years on Drag Race.

There’s also an out-of-drag RuPaul, in his signature Klein Epstein & Parker suit that he wears in the werkroom while giving one-to-ones to the queens.

The set is finished up with disco-inspired look, one of Ru’s favourite genres, which also includes a headband in a nod to the back cover of her book, Workin’ It!: RuPaul’s Guide to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Style.

Fans of Ru and Mattel are loving the new edition to the Fisher-Price range, with many noting the importance of inclusion.

One reviewer said: “What’s amazing is this set allows children to see everyone has a place to be who they are and who they want to be.”

Another added that Mattel are “continuing the message of love, diversity, and inclusivity that RuPaul embodies” with the release of the set.

The RuPaul Little People Collector is available to buy from amazon.com and amazon.co.uk.

RuPaul is sashaying onto a new game show

This year the icon will host a celebrity spin-off of ITV’s game show Lingo later this year.

Mama Ru will front Celebrity Lingo, which will pit renowned personalities against each other in a word guessing game.

RuPaul promised that the new show will be a great addition to the ITV line-up for those who just “want to have fun”.

“Now, more than ever before, people want to have fun, and Celebrity Lingo is here to serve it up generously,” he said.

Lingo first aired on ITV for a short stint in 1988 and was based on a US game show of the same name. It was revived by the broadcaster in 2021 with a new format, with British comedian Adil Ray as host.

The game show is a fast-paced Wordle and bingo mash-up, where celebrities will need to compete to fill in the blanks to figure out missing words.

In February, Ru was also announced as the host of a US version of Lingo.
