Christina Aguilera rocks massive, bejewelled strap-on in unforgettable LA Pride performance

Christina Aguilera has once again proved herself to be a true icon by sporting a crystal-covered strap-on during a fabulously camp performance at LA Pride.

As always, Xtina has given the gays what they wanted with an incredible LA Pride performance, flooring fans with an array of looks.

Kicking off Pride celebrations in style, Aguilera headlined the annual event on Saturday (11 June) with some of her top hits and a few guest appearances.

One of the highlights of the show came as the singer duetted with Kim Petras, dressed green ensemble that featured a massive jewel-encrusted strap-on and chest plate with sculpted abs.

The pair sang one of Petras’ latest hits, ‘XXX’, while Aguilera paraded her strap-on around the stage. To no surprise, queer fans approved of Aguilera’s incredibly extra outfit.

The “Dirrty” singer also blessed the audience with a handful of other stunning outfits, including a Progress Pride flag leotard for “Beautiful”.

She changed into a yellow feathered showgirl catsuit for a rendition of “Lady Marmalade” and was joined by Mya, who sang on the 2001 recording alongside Pink and Lil’ Kim.

Much to the delight of fans, Paris Hilton also took to the stage to DJ while Aguilera sang hits such as “Feel This Moment” and Hilton’s “Stars are Blind”.

Ending the show, Christina Aguilera thanked the event and said she was “honoured” to have performed at LA Pride. She also thanked the LGBTQ+ community for supporting her throughout her career.

“Thank you for your love and support over the last 20-plus years. You’re my family. I’m so happy to always give a voice or try to [give a voice to] anyone that feels like they’re suppressed or outcast…I’m so proud to call you my family” she told the crowd, according to Rolling Stone.

During her set, Aguilera condemned Florida’s infamous “Don’t Say Gay” law with a video montage and dancers holding signs that read ‘say gay’. The law bans the discussion of LGBTQ+ topics in classrooms across the state.

Christina Aguilera will perform for UK fans at Brighton & Hove Pride on 6 August.
