Ezra Miller accused of ‘harassing’ second family and brandishing gun in front of 12-year-old
The mother of a non-binary 12-year-old has reportedly been granted a protection order against Ezra Miller.
The mother and child were reportedly granted a temporary harassment protection against Miller by a court in Greenfield, Massachusetts on Wednesday (15 June) after alleging that the actor brandished a gun in a troubling incident.
It comes after a separate protection order saw Miller accused of using “violence, intimidation, fear, paranoia” and “drugs” to manipulate an 18-year-old.
According to a report by The Daily Beast, Miller allegedly harassed the Massachusetts family in their downstairs neighbour’s home.
While both the family and Miller were visiting the neighbour, another visiting neighbour mentioned travelling recently with “her tribe”. This allegedly caused Miller to angrily accuse her of cultural appropriation.
Later, the outlet reports, an argument erupted over the board game Parcheesi. The visiting neighbour told The Daily Beast that Miller claimed the game had Rastafarian roots.
When they asked Miller for specifics, the actor allegedly “started screaming directly into [their] face”.
“They said: ‘You don’t even know what the f**k you’re talking about. What did you say to me? What did you just say to me?!” the neighbour told the outlet.
“I was very caught off-guard. Then they opened their jacket – they had this, like, big sherpa jacket – and they opened up one side of their jacket, you could see a gun, and they said: ‘Talking like that could get you into a really serious situation.'”
Miller then allegedly began to hurl insults at the mother, who is a goth, asking whether she wanted to drink their blood.
They then reportedly turned their attention to the then 11-year-old child, saying that they “have a lot of power in them”, that the mother would “realise that you don’t have any control over them anymore”, and that “they would be lucky to have someone like me guide them”.
According to The Daily Beast, Miller apologised for their outbursts, but returned to pester the family on at least three other occasions.
Miller’s current whereabouts are unknown, with reports that a court has been unable to locate them to serve them with a protective order on behalf of 18-year-old Gibson Iron Eyes, filed by their parents.
Iron Eyes’ parents claim Miller was responsible for influencing Iron Eyes’ decision to come out as non-binary and that the actor used violence to “hold sway” over them.
In an interview with LA Times, Iron Eyes’ father accused Miller of “psychologically manipulating, physically intimidating and endangering the safety and welfare” of his child.
