Elon Musk’s ex-wife ‘proud’ of trans child for cutting all ties with billionaire s**tposter
Elon Musk’s ex-wife has said she’s proud of their trans child after she filed documents to essentially sever all ties with her biological father.
The billionaire s**tposter’s daughter recently filed a petition to change her name, citing that she does not “wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form”.
Her mother Justine Wilson, former wife of the Tesla CEO, then took to Twitter on Monday (20 June) to applaud her child.
In the tweet, Wilson described a conversation in which her daughter said: “I had a weird childhood. I can’t believe I’m as normal-seeming as I am.”
Wilson replied, “I’m very proud of you.” Her 18-year-old daughter then said, “I’m proud of myself!”

The hearing for Musk’s daughter’s name-change petition is set for Friday. Neither a representative for Elon Musk nor the Tesla media office has responded to the petition as of yet.
The crushing blow to Musk comes after he declared he would be voting Republican for the first time, claiming president Joe Biden is “simply too much captured by the unions”.
He tweeted his support for Florida Republican governor Ron DeSantis if he were to make a bid for president in 2024. The Florida governor is well-known for his anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments, including an attempt to ban healthcare for trans kids outright.

The Republican Party is aggressively homophobic and transphobic, with the Texas arm of the party officially declaring itself as anti-LGBTQ+ on Saturday (18 June).
Musk himself has pushed anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric in the past. His tweet in 2020 claimed that “pronouns suck”, and was followed up by a meme of a British Redcoat smearing blood on his face with the caption: “When you put he/him in [yo]ur bio.”
More recently, Musk posted yet another meme on Twitter mocking brands changing their logos for Pride Month. The meme featured a tornado surrounded by rainbow brand logos, captioned: “June is almost here.”
His attempts to buy Twitter in what he said is an attempt to prioritise “free speech”, GLAAD president Sarah Ellis said: “LGBTQ+ people are at disproportionate risk for harassment online and violence in real life. The cost of hate speech further erodes basic safety and civility across society.”
