Rebel Wilson wants us all to be the best versions of ourselves.
Wilson has taken a well-deserved holiday after being forced to come out by a newspaper that threatened to reveal that she’s in a relationship with a woman – during Pride Month.
The Senior Year star shared a picture of herself chilling poolside in a pink swimsuit on Saturday (2 July), noting that she had gained some weight while on holiday.
“I’ve lost all self control,” she joked. “But you know what? I can get up tomorrow and go to the gym, and hydrate and eat healthy and love myself.
“It doesn’t help to be hard on yourself but I know what it’s like to feel guilty and not great after eating too much.
“But if you’re like me just know YOU are more than just your weight, your weight doesn’t define you, just try your best to be healthy and don’t be so hard on yourself … Be the best version of you.”

Rebel Wilson’s partner, fashion designer Ramona Agruma, left a lovely comment underneath the heartfelt post, saying that Wilson is the “best” and “most beautiful girl”.
Actor Marissa Jaret Winokur thanked Wilson for “sharing all” of herself and said she wished she had a “role model” like her when she was young.
“Your talent and charisma and star quality doesn’t care what dress size you are,” Winokur said.
Hidden Figures star Octavia Spencer simply left several fire emojis, which is fair.
Rebel Wilson went public with her new relationship after the Sydney Morning Herald threatened to publish a news item about it.
The article would have effectively ‘outed’ Wilson as queer to the world, though the Sydney Morning Herald denied this was the article’s goal.
Wilson briefly spoke out on social media after the tabloid’s columnist Andrew Hornery wrote an article complaining that Wilson had ruined his scoop.
Rebel Wilson admitted on Twitter that it was a “very hard situation”, but she was “trying to handle it with grace” – which she definitely has.
Hornery wrote in a follow-up column that he didn’t seek to “out” Wilson, but understood why his messages to her – giving her a deadline for response – could have “been seen as a threat”.
He said he had learned some “difficult lessons” from this.
