Drag Race All Stars just crowned a winner, baby

A winner has finally been crowned in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season seven, and fans are absolutely gagged.

Warning: spoilers ahead.

Season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars came with a twist – it was an all winners season, with eight queens who have snatched the crown in the past returning to battle it out.

The format was different too – there were no eliminations. Instead, each week, two queens were awarded a “Legendary Legend Star”, with the top two lip-syncing to block their fellow queens from winning a star the following week.

In the finale, the four queens who had racked up the most stars over the course of the season battled it out for victory.

Monét X Change, Shea Couleé, Trinity the Tuck, Jinkx Monsoon, Raja, Yvie Oddly, Jaida Essence Hall and The Vivienne gave everything they had over the course of 12 episodes in a desperate bid to be crowned the all-time winner, but in the end, only one queen could emerge victorious.

And in the end, it was Drag Race legend and bonafide icon Jinkx Monsoon who took home the crown.

Jinkx Monsoon delivered a powerful message after winning RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: All Winners

The finale ended with Jinkx and Monét lip-syncing for their lives to “Swish Swish” by Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj before RuPaul announced the winner.

“Jinkx, Monét, whatever happens next, you are and will always be legendary legends,” Ru told her queens.

“Now, ladies, based on this lip-sync and your performance all season long, I’ve made my decision. The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: All Winners, our queen of all queens, is Jinkx Monsoon.”

Immediately after being crowned winner, Jinkx delivered a powerful speech about self-love and, of course, witchcraft.

“Drag is my passion and something I’ve dedicated more than half of my life to at this point and I feel so grateful to be invited here and I just hope to share the gifts that you’ve bestowed upon me with everyone else out there and show them that we are all beautiful, no matter who we are or how we present ourselves to the world,” Jinkx said.

“I claim this in the name of Hecate, mother of witches. Thank you!”

Fans were utterly overjoyed to see Jinkx Monsoon take home the crown.

Jinkx, from Portland, Oregon, first rose to fame when she won season five all the way back in 2013. Almost a decade on, she has proven herself a worthy winner indeed.
