Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari hit back at her ex Kevin Federline, who has claimed that her sons want to “distance themselves” from her over her naked pictures.

Spears and Federline were married for three years before divorcing in 2007, and have two children together – Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15.

Around the time of their divorce, and the beginning of Spears’ conservatorship, Federline was given sole custody of the two boys.

On Friday, the Daily Mail published an interview with Federline, in which he claimed their sons had “decided they are not seeing her right now”, in part because they found their mother posting nude photos on social media “tough”.

But Spears hit back at the claims, posting to her Instagram story: “It saddens me to hear that my ex husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children.

“As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone. It concerns me the fact that the reasons is based on my Instagram… it was LONG before Instagram.

“I gave them everything… Only one word: HURTFUL.”

In a longer Instagram post, she added later: “During my conservatorship I was controlled and monitored for nearly 15 years… I needed permission just to take Tylenol!!!

“I should embark on doing waaay more than going topless on the beach like a baby!!!!! I’m not surprised that just as my family did their share of interviews, [the Federlines] will too.

“I’m not surprised at all with their behaviour and their approach to what I’ve had to deal with.”

Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari slammed Kevin Federline as ‘irresponsible’ and a ‘bad role model’

Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari also responded to Kevin Federline’s claims on social media.

In his own Instagram story, he said: “There is no validity to his statement regarding the kids distancing themselves and it is irresponsible to make that statement publicly.

“The boys are very smart and will be 18 soon to make their own decisions and may eventually realise the ‘tough’ part was having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years as a role model.”

Asghari described Spears’ selfies as “quite modest these days”, and continued: “I do not know him personally and have nothing against him aside him [choosing] to vilify my wife.

“His character is revealed by approval of the cruel 13 year conservatorship and his loyalty to Jaimie indicates his approval at time of its conception as well.”

He later said in a message Federline that he “wishes him the best” but, quoting Will Smith, added: “Keep my wife’s name…… out your mouth.”
