RuPaul’s Drag Race UK icon Divina De Campo sparked chaos after she claimed a “prominent” and “loved” queen supports Donald Trump and JK Rowling.

Without naming any names, she said a queen from the Drag Race franchise said “Donald Trump was a great president, JKR is a really talented person, climate change isn’t real”.

She explained in a follow-up tweet that she wasn’t talking about one of her Drag Race UK sisters, pointing to it being an American queen.

Despite thousands of responses to her tweet, Divina has not yet revealed who the mystery queen is.

Fans wasted no time becoming detectives, trying to work out which queen secretly loves controversial figures US former President Donald Trump – who has been accused multiple times of sexual harassment, and author JK Rowling – who has faced criticism for her views on trans rights.

Even stars of the show seemed baffled by Divina De Campo’s tweet, with Kornbread from US Drag Race‘s 14th season saying: “So you gone wake Twitter up. And not say who? Help me understand.”

British fans of Drag Race were just relieved their UK huns weren’t the ones with questionable views.

Drag Race UK will be returning to the BBC for its fourth series on 22 September, with the full cast of 12 new queens announced on Wednesday (7 September).

The new queens include star of Channel 4‘s Drag SOS, Cheddar Gorgeous, and the first trans woman to compete on Drag Race UK, Dakota Schiffer.

RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton will also judge bearded queen Danny Beard, London’s “afro punk princess” Baby, Birmingham legend Black Peppa and the “world’s premiere Geri Haliwell impersonator”, Just May.

Alongside the cast announcement for series four, the news dropped that casting has officially opened for Drag Race UK‘s fifth season.

In a tweet from the show’s official Twitter account, Mama Ru says: “Calling all UK queens. Casting for series five of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is open – officially!
