She said that Balmonds products have saved her skin from the rigors of a day of filming: “You know that this hair is wigged up and glued and everything, and when I take it off, this is what fixes me!”, she said.
And the show’s hair and wig supervisor, Sim Camps said: “After a long day on set, the cast certainly appreciates the high quality of Balmonds organic products when we derig their makeup.”
While Star Wars actress Genevieve O’Reilly said: “Skin Salvation has been a game changer for my family’s dry skin. It is soothing and calming and nourishing all at once. And when a rough or irritated patch of eczema has arisen, Skin Salvation has calmed it within a day.”
In the UK the brand has been flying off the shelves as it regularly sells out in high street stores.
You can shop the range in North America at CVS Clean Beauty Hubs and Belk Stores and online at balmonds.com.
What are Balmond’s popular products?
This multi-purpose balm is the brand’s hero product. Skin Salvation is an all-natural balm made with beeswax and hemp seed oil and is an effective eco-friendly alternative to paraffin or petroleum-based emollients for people battling childhood eczema.
It’s ideal for dry or cracked skin anywhere on the body, it calms itchy or inflamed skin, and can be used as a gentle balm to protect minor scratches, grazes or insect bites.
Plus, you can use it as a cleansing beauty balm to remove makeup.
Balmonds make a super mild, all-natural foaming wash which can be used for face, hands, body and hair. It’s been created for those with sensitive skin or prone to eczema, as well as those who suffer with dry hands or dermatitis.
If you’re looking for an eco-friendly alternative to soap or sulfate-based washes, then the Natural Shampoo & Body Wash is perfect for you.
This is made with exceptionally nourishing rosehip oil, calming chamomile and balancing palmarosa, and can be used as an all-natural alternative to facial serums or blemish oils.
Its aim is to improve the appearance of aging, fragile, scarred or pigmented skin, as the oil is packed full of vitamins, nutrients, and omega-rich oils, and works overtime as a vitamin supplement for the skin.
This natural daily moisturizer uses the potent key ingredients from their Skin Salvation – hemp seed oil, olive, safflower, chamomile, calendula – but in an shea butter base.
Like all Balmonds products, the cream is unfragranced and super mild for sensitive skin but packs an intensive hydrating punch for depleted skin.
