Mariah Carey featured in The Crown – so she celebrated in the campest way possible
Pop icon and The Crown super fan Mariah Carey scored an early screening of the new season after her 1991 hit “Emotions” appeared in the first episode – and it was as camp as Christmas.
Season five takes a deep dive into the 1990s for the Royal family and is filled to the brim with Charles and Diana drama – and Mariah was here for every second.
And as Netflix wrote: “Everyone knows how much Mariah Carey loves The Crown so we hooked up the ultimate superfan with a queen-caliber early screening…”
While viewin the first episode she was dressed to the nines in a dressing gown, sparkly body suit, tiara and glittering shoes – with a cup of tea in hand of course.
“THE CROWN premiered last night and of course I had to have my own screening dahhlings!” She wrote in the caption.

The scene featuring her song shows Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry speedboating on the ocean while a bitter Charles watches on.
Celebrating the new season with her friends and family, Mariah took it one step further and while watching season five on one screen, had season one playing on another projector.
“I love season one as well, they are all great to me,” she joked in the video.
Of course fans are gagged by her absolutely slaying her viewing party, with one person writing: “Not all Queens descend from royal families!! They Can be Mariah Carey, Queen of music and soul.”
Another added: “The hair, the crown, the everything!! Queen looking gorgeous.”
The highly anticipated fifth season of the popular Netflix series has already had fans raving as we see the people’s princess most iconic years play out.
Meanwhile, although Mariah may not be the Queen of England, she is the veritable Queen of Christmas and already heralded in the season.
At the beginning of November she blew her Christmas budget on an epic seasonal video showing her transforming from spooky halloween vibes to all-out festive cheer – to the back drop of “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” of course.
