I’m A Celebrity saw Jill Scott became the nation’s favourite after an eventful episode that saw undercover moles and a rendition of “Sweet Caroline”.

Retired footballer and Euro champion Scott kicked off the adoration after being chosen to complete a secret mission.

She had to tell Loose Women host Charlene White that she turns off the show because of all the “moaning.”

One time, I was watching Loose Women and the topics were so depressing and I felt like everyone was moaning,” Scott said.

“I think they need to pick the positive people. Are you offended, one episode I might have switched over? Can I make you a cup of tea as a sorry?”

Although White seemed devastated, Scott was quick to clarify it was all part of her task as undercover mole, restoring the peace.
“That was probably the most uncomfortable thing I’d ever had to do,” she admitted to the I’m A Celebrity Bush Telegraph afterward.

Jill Scott then had to come up with a fictional pre-match Lioness’ chant to share with the camp and decided on: “Lionesses will always soar, on three, hear our roar… one, two, three roar!”

People were so delighted with the chant they are already starting petitions to make it an official part of the Lioness’ routine. Scott’s Twitter account joined in on the joke on Twitter, writing: “It’s totally catching on.”

And to cap it off, Scott won everyone over with her choice of luxury item being to play the classic “Sweet Caroline” three times on the camp while everyone sang along and danced.

Her iconic actions have firmly placed her as a favourite to win, with people on social media only having love for the footballer.

No other way to say it, Jill Scott is just such a f**king legend and icon, she’s so positive and goes along with everything and throws herself into everything and motivates people and inspires them, I absolutely adore the woman,” one person wrote.

While another added: “Protect Jill Scott at all costs!! She’s a national treasure.”

Scott was already dubbed a “national treasure” after her legendary entrance where she walked on a plank at the top of a skyscraper despite being afraid of heights.
