Jill Scott has been praised by fans after getting a cockroach stuck in her ear in Thursday’s (17 November) episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

During the “scareground” Bushtucker trial, Lioness Scott had to go up against meal worms and cockroaches in the “unlucky dip” and ended up getting closer to the insects than she bargained for.

During the trial she admitted “I’ve got a cockroach right in my ear” and as a medic came over, added: “You don’t have to look, it’s definitely in there”.

Trying to make light of the situation she joked: “Come to the jungle, they said, it’ll be fun”, as the medic sprayed her ear with water and grabbed tools to inch it out.

“It’s now in my brain,” she quipped, “it feels so weird.”

Eventually the medic yanked out a massive cockroach and Ant joked it was bigger than the one previous contestant Fatima Whitbread had in her nose.

Viewers have flocked to praise Scott who battled the cockroach like a champ, with one viewer writing: “Well done Jill powering through with that massive bug in her ear.”

Another rightly added: “Honestly, Jill is braver than me. I would have torn off my own head and flung it if there had been a cockroach in my ear.”

“Jill still making jokes when she has a cockroach in her ear, I love her so f***ing much,” someone else added.

Luckily Scott got her prize by winning a coveted spot for a beach BBQ much to everyone’s delight.

And with the first elimination set to happen in Friday’s (18 November) episode, Jill Scott is looking like a firm favourite.

Fans are encouraging everyone to vote for Scott to secure her place in the contest and even see her be crowned Queen of the Jungle by the end.

Scott has been a consistent favourite since the new season started, opening up about her struggles to become a footballer, as well as helping everyone around the camp.
I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out Of Here airs at 9pm everyday on ITV.
