Craig David addresses all those sexual orientation rumours

Craig David has given a new interview rejecting all labels for his sexual orientation, saying that he ‘leaves it open.’
In an interview with The Sun, the ‘7 Days’ singer rejected all labels for his sexuality and questioned the years speculation that has followed him.
In this recent interview, he stated that rather than having a specific term for his orientation, he prefers to be more open.
He said: “Nah, you know what? I leave it very open because at the end of the day it’s one of those things where I shouldn’t have to reinforce and state, ‘No, I’m a heterosexual’ — because that’s all nonsense.
“I think it’s very evident in the way my songs are and how I speak about relationships so I wouldn’t even go into it. It’s like if that’s what you feel it’s what you feel.”
He continued: “the only person that it really matters is the relationship that I’m in and I know, I know.”

David has repeatedly had to address rumours about his sexual orientation since his debut in 1999.
He then went on to praise the ways in which social media has changed the ways sexuality and gender are discussed.
The singer said: “I feel in the sense that if you’re heterosexual, if you’re bisexual, if you’re gay, if you’re a lesbian, if you’re transgender, whatever the vibe is, that’s what you represent.”
He continued: “I’ve always found it quite strange that we always like to try and define people and say this is how it is and this is how it should be.
“That’s one of the things that the internet and social media have really opened up and allowed.”
In an interview in 2016, David talked about how angry some heterosexual people can become when they are questioned about their orientation.
“Sometimes people can get very aggressive with their response when they’re heterosexual, I find that quite strange,” he told KissFM.
The garage artist first addressed rumours back in 2006, blaming his strong morals for his lack of luck with the opposite sex.
