Drag queen breaks hand punching Nazi in the face

There are many bad ways to break your hand, and a few good ones — but this drag queen found the absolute best way.

Morgan McMichaels, who appeared on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and came fifth in this year’s RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars, revealed on Instagram that she had punched a Nazi in self-defence.

Attacks like the one she describes are unfortunately common, with Drag Race season nine queens Shea Coulee and Farrah Moan called “faggots,” “slut” and “walking STDs” earlier this year in a Newcastle kebab shop.

Farrah showed that drag queens won’t be cowed into silence, telling her abusers: “We’re touring the world being gay. What are you doing?”

And McMichaels took a similar path, as she explained to her more than 240,000 followers on Instagram, writing: “So ya my hand is broken.

“I was approached by a man at the store who informed me that he was a Nazi and he wanted to cut my faggot throat,” she continued.

“After he took a swing I obliged him and finished the fight… this faggot will not be victimised.”

And McMichaels, whose given name is Thomas White, wasn’t going to let her damaged hand get her down or ruin her look.

Above a picture of her with a wonderfully sparkly cast that looks like it was made out of disco ball, she wrote: “Nothing will stop my magic!!!”

McMichaels followed in the footsteps of the trio of drag queen “angels” who saved New Zealand-born Ivan Flinn from an anti-gay attack in Sydney last year.

He was called a “faggot” and “queer c**t” before explaining to his abusers that they shouldn’t “use the word faggot especially not on Oxford St.”

The men began to attack Flinn, ultimately dislocating his jaw and ripping his clothes from his body. He said he thought he was going to die, but a group of unexpected heroes leapt to his rescue.

It is not clear whether McMichaels has reported the incident to the police (morgan mcmichaels/facebook)

“I was praying for a hero and I got three angels,” he said.

To reward Coco Jumbo, Ivy League and Vybe for their heroic actions, he set up a fundraising page to replace their damaged nails and wigs.

McMichaels has also been the subject of a death hoax.

Drag Race season two winner Tyra Sanchez — who was investigated by the police in June over alleged threats to RuPaul’s DragCon — spread the false information online last year.

Sanchez also fell out with fellow queens after telling fans to “kill themselves” on Twitter.
