Everything you need to be the star baker on The Great British Bake Off – including LGBT+ aprons

The Great British Bake Off returns this month.

The Great British Bake Off returns to our screens this month and we cannot wait.

The baking competition show is everything we need in our lives as the weather gets colder and the days feel shorter.

This series of The Great British Bake Off will see 12 amateur bakers head to the famous tent, for one to be crowned the winner by Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

It will premiere on 21 September on Channel 4 – the same week as Drag Race UK returns for series three – so we’re being spoilt.

The bakers will take part in some stressful challenges, from chocolate week to pastry week, with a few innuendos thrown in for good measure.

If you’re a fan of the show and every series think “I’d love to give baking a try” and even end up on Bake Off one day then there’s a few ways to get started.

Of course, you’ll need the equipment, accessories and maybe a few books to guide you through some recipes.

Below we’ve put together some things to get you started on your Bake Off journey.
